august! the summer is always a frenzy of activity, and we look forward to meeting the friends and family that are having their holidays nearby.

the month started in the north, and then we drove south and had our friends for company for a couple of weeks. for the first half of the month, the days were filled with board games and long walks, ice-creams and market excursions. after that, there was lots of world postcard day stuff and then the fire nearby. nothing exciting to report, but a very happy month nonetheless.

here it is, whatever was salvageable from last month’s phone. just bits of normal life, vaccines, and days with the parents. :)

so, april! it was the end of the lockdown, and we’ve gone west and north in our search for fresh air.

some highlights included the long hike on the southwest coast, lots of birdwatching, the return of game nights and some family time too!
