quick update, just to say "hello! i’m still around!". i really don’t like leaving meiadeleite without regular updates, but right now i’m having trouble keeping up with normal life + all the stuff i got myself into.
here’s a bit of the stuff i’ve been working on:
* templates: marta’s and hi tech.
* newsletters: june’s urban movements (rum + maus hábitos) and another one for rum com jazz.

lots of other stuff coming up, webstuff mainly. and… i’m getting the cutest notebook around (at least if you ask me)!

trying hard not to become a total geek. tough job.

tips

long story short:
a couple of months ago, a very very drunk mister talked to me about making a photo exhibit at his bar, the coolest one in braga. just like that, out of the blue as i walked out of the place. i thought about it for a while, invited a friend and we did it – though at another location (in the end, the drunk bar owner wanted something sligthly more professional, i think, so we shifted places. at least for now.)
so there you go, the exhibit is called tips, and it’s loosely based on the concepts from we are what we do and buy nothing day, except we added our own images to the cause, and hanged it on a huge pink wall.

so spread the word. drop us a line. show up! :)

p for press

thanks to the these cute guys :P i got myself in brg2005, a local electronic music and multimedia art festival. small highlights:
* silverio: check out the photos on his website. the energy, the way he spoke with the micro on his mouth, the jumping on the table. crazy and simultaneously very good :)
* pierre bastien: the metallic contraptions man. jazzy, somewhat spooky, the sounds floating out of the mecanos and the toys. there are some mp3’s on his site as well.
* mathmos: i had heard about it, but those lamps are really amazing. the airswitch is my favourite – the glow is so yummy.
* the location sure was a bonus. braga has a gorgeous stadium, carved out of a granite rock.

grown-up’s imaginary friend.

ainda ontem a tinha ao colo no baptizado, e agora já tem 8 anos, e é altura da primeira comunhão.
as minhas convicções religiosas mudaram, mas o estatuto de madrinha, esse, já não fui a tempo de o revogar. no fundo, nem sei se quero. quero que ela aprenda as histórias e as lenga-lengas, para poder perceber, ou ter uma ideia do que é. bem sei que lho podia tentar simplesmente explicar, e poupar a lavagem cerebral dominical, mas provavelmente não era a mesma coisa. assim conto-lhe eu algumas versões b e a coisa compõe-se.

quando tiver 16, passo-lhe os livros de sartre para a mão e redimo-me. com alguma sorte. a educação é tarefa complicada.
