finally catching up with these videos!
october had its ups and downs. world postcard day came and went and afterwards we went north, caught up with family, ran all the errands, ate a francesinha, renewed our passports (just in case the borders open!), played games, hiked… there was a bit of everything, and it felt like an intense month.
i’m glad november is being a bit more low-key… i feel like i need time to catch my breath!
i’m so late with this video, but here it goes:
lots of family moments, walking on the treadmill, food experiments, and the first rains of autumn. also, i rode on my brother’s bike for the first time, and was only a little bit panicky. :D
august! the summer is always a frenzy of activity, and we look forward to meeting the friends and family that are having their holidays nearby.
the month started in the north, and then we drove south and had our friends for company for a couple of weeks. for the first half of the month, the days were filled with board games and long walks, ice-creams and market excursions. after that, there was lots of world postcard day stuff and then the fire nearby. nothing exciting to report, but a very happy month nonetheless.
july was a slower month, a month spent catching up with friends, feeding deers, buying a house… a month to remind us to take a break and enjoy it. :)
here it is, whatever was salvageable from last month’s phone. just bits of normal life, vaccines, and days with the parents. :)
