mmm… where were we? april, was it? well, better late than never, i suppose! here it goes then:
april was the best — the sun was shining and there was a bit of everything! lots of time with friends and family, ice-creams, postcards, productive workdays, ikea finally opening nearby… and then in the end we went to morocco, which was brilliant! more on that in another post. :)
it’s the last day of april already, and march seems like years away… but it’s still sitting on my phone, so here it goes:
it was pretty low-key as months go — but a great one at that, if that makes any sense. we spent time with friends, celebrated birthdays, went to concerts, spiralised all the things, did some nice interviews and giveaways on the blog… oh, and admired p.’s beard, which was huge! :D
februaries never turn out to be particularly exciting, and this one was no exception.
i fixed the garden a bit, tried my hand at pottery (still as hopeless as in kindergarten), hiked with friends and had a little romantic getaway… but mostly worked-worked-worked. that’s ok though — sometimes it’s best to stay put and focus. the next few months should prove adventurous enough! :)
did january just fly by? seems like it!
the first half was packed: we started in germany welcoming the new year with friends, and then slowly made our way south with a lot of stops in between to be with family and do a first aid course. once home, it was time to catch up, so we spent our days working by the fireplace, getting back in shape and hiking around the countryside with friends.
it felt good to settle down for a quiet time, plan the year ahead and get things in order. let’s see what february brings! :)
2016 started and ended with fireworks, so in a way, it feels like we’ve come full circle.
it was a good year, with a bit of everything. seeing it in a quick compilation leaves me feeling really warm and fuzzy inside… so many adventures, so many hugs. i’ll do my best to make 2017 just as exciting! :)
