the month started in france on new year’s yodel camp, and then a quick jump back home with my parents in tow for a few days.
after that it was mostly catching up with work, along with the start of the hiking season, board games, lots of fondues… and a few days spent working in front of the fireplace. cozy and productive.
and here it is, the whole year as a long array of tiny seconds.
so much laughter and silliness, so many friendly faces and new adventures… every single day remarkable and precious.
lots of cats, xmas cards, some food experiments, meeting friends, family days…
… and then, a jump to france for the second edition of our new year’s yodel camp! :)
november was a quiet month, spent mostly at home.
we worked and did all the mundane little things that life is made of. william-the-black-cat slowly lost his fear of humans. the first rains came, but they were short-lived. our friend lynda came to visit too, and helped us test the new travel mode in postcrossing. i finally put some order on my photo backups. we helped neighbours move. and then, the battery on my phone went kaputt towards the end of the month… so we skipped a few days here and there.
october was… eventful.
as soon as the month started, we jumped to morocco for some days of hiking in the atlas. at home, we worked, watched some concerts, attended the local “dev day” and tried to make friends with william, the neighbourhood’s black cat. towards the end of the month, we spent a week exploring córdoba, an unexpectedly nice surprise.
