one second everyday — july 2017

apologies for the silence and mostly automatic posts… august has been brilliant so far, which leaves little time for blogging. now that i’ve managed to somehow bust my back (again!) with an acrobatic jump to the ubahn though, i’m lying in bed taking it easy… on the upside, more time for posting! :D

anyway, here’s what july looked like:

highlights:
– crafty afternoons and many summer meals with friends
– hosting a biker cousin and his friends
– petsitting our neighbours’ friendly dog
– quick pitstop on our way north to explore maat with jenny
– paulo’s dad turned 80!

and then, really at the end of the month we jumped on a plane for a whole month of adventures abroad! :D

one second everyday — june 2017

i have to say, june was pretty sweet. we saved a swallow (a story for another post), gave blood, did a little roadtrip in andaluzia, celebrated my 35th birthday with my parents who came over for a few days, saw the passionfruit vines grow huge and met lots of friends for meals. in between all the excitement, there were also lots of quiet days working from the couch (where it’s usually fresher) — a good balance overall.

one second everyday — may 2017

may started in morocco, skipped to finland and then came back to the southern sunshine again.

highlights: more morocco. painting my hair for the first time. seeing lots of postcrossing friends in finland (and meeting some new ones) + visiting the new finnish postal museum. giving a few talks about postcrossing. and eating looots of korvapuusti! :D

one second everyday — april 2017

mmm… where were we? april, was it? well, better late than never, i suppose! here it goes then:

april was the best — the sun was shining and there was a bit of everything! lots of time with friends and family, ice-creams, postcards, productive workdays, ikea finally opening nearby… and then in the end we went to morocco, which was brilliant! more on that in another post. :)

one second everyday — march 2017

it’s the last day of april already, and march seems like years away… but it’s still sitting on my phone, so here it goes:

it was pretty low-key as months go — but a great one at that, if that makes any sense. we spent time with friends, celebrated birthdays, went to concerts, spiralised all the things, did some nice interviews and giveaways on the blog… oh, and admired p.’s beard, which was huge! :D
